News UK is tuning in to offer a pitch perfect service to advertisers.
Pitch Desk opened today (Monday) on level 10 of the company’s News Building at London Bridge.
It is a space where News UK commercial can bring advertisers to the building and creatively bring to life the way we can help with advertising and marketing needs.
Commercial Bridge Studio director Mark Field (pictured below) said: “Pitch Desk’s main aim is to help us maximise advertising revenue by offering customers a joined-up, News UK approach to their business briefs and this space will help us demonstrate how, using our combined talents, we can offer great scale, excellent brands and connect them to more valuable audiences.”
It is also a collaborative space where all parts of the News Corp UK & Ireland business, not just those primarily based within The News Building, but also Wireless, Storyful and Unruly can combine to work as equal partners when answering one of the many briefs received from advertisers.
MARK FIELD Delivering the best solution
Field added: “By using The Bridge Studio approach, we are developing an increasing amount of cross-platform solutions for advertisers when it comes to branded content or sponsorship.
“The pitch desk will be an ‘always on’ space where representatives from each of our businesses can collaborate to come up with the best solution using the very best talent and great ideas which can be delivered across our various media channels.”
News UK chief commercial officer Dominic Carter said: “News UK has made a significant investment in the acquisition of Unruly and Wirelsss Group in the last 18 months and while we have been working ever closer together to the benefit of our clients, this space is a physical manifestation of the collaborative efforts of our people across the group.
“It is a place for our clients and agency partners to experience the breadth and depth of our media and its unrivalled ability to reach more valuable audiences.
“We will immerse more and more clients in our business and create more opportunities for them to increase their investment across our portfolio – it is a unique investment in The Bridge and we will be generating a valuable return.”
